Hope you had a glorious Easter!

At dawn this morning I was reminded again

that it's so much more than

colorful eggs...isn't it?

so much more than rushing to find candy-filled eggs and chocolate bunnies...

although some were filled with this...

yes, it's so much more...and it's our job to teach them

and the best little notes from my mom to all of us, adults and kids...

the red pebble resembles Jesus' blood shed for us. 

And so today we celebrated at the sunrise service on the beach...

talk about a beautiful backdrop for praise and thanksgiving!

wow!

and just before that glorious sun peeked above the horizon...

I opened my eyes (yes, during the prayer) and caught a glimpse of my earthly father 

praying to my heavenly father 

and I just had to capture that moment.

oh how I love this picture...and hope you will too Dad.

and then it happened...

just one of the miracles of His creation

for our enjoyment 

every. single. day.

Thank you Lord, for your death and resurrection on this beautiful and holy day.
