speak love, sing joy...choosing words that bless

Somehow between packing and donating and cleaning and moving
I have managed to design a few new pieces for this Thursday's event.
Still hoping you are planning to grab a friend or two... or twenty and head over for the fun.
Can't wait to take a much needed break and celebrate new art with YOU!
Here's the cute invite they made...

An exclusive invitation for YOU,

our lovely vendors and your

family and friends to attend...
Show and Tell Night
Thursday, February 9th
5pm to 7pm
We love our vendors,
love the new updates and would
love to have you show off
your lovely spaces!
Drinks, pinks and surprises await you!
So dress in the colors of love and
happy valentines to you
from Cotswold Marketplace

Our words can sting or bless and as I was thinking on this recently
(disciplining children) which I am sure many of you can relate to right along with me.
I decided to create what was on my heart.
We are all guilty of using stinging words, hurting words, words which do not lift each other up...
and doesn't it just feel better inside and out when we use our words wisely
to bless one another in love and encouragement,
as if joy and love were literally flowing from our lips
So here are two new mixed media pieces to remind us all of just that.

You can come scoop up the originals this Thursday night.
I've been told we'll see these birdies and these words on products this summer from this wonderful client.
Oh how I can't wait to share all the goodies we have been working on
but that's for a later post in warmer months....stay tuned!
So let me know what you think of the art above and the words.
Does this "hit home" for you too?
Blessings on your day
and may we all remember to "speak love" and "sing joy"
as we head out into this big, wide world today.
Our words just may be exactly what someone we encounter needs to hear.
xoxo,
Caroline

  1. How have I missed that you are moving? Where are you going? Moving is so major - MAJOR! Will be praying for you. I am so proud of you Caroline. Such an honor to know you. Wish I lived closer.

  2. I absolutely love the colors in "speak love", "sing joy" bird is quite bright for me :). Anyway the words are one big true :). My "Mum-in-love" says: "If you have nothing nice to tell, stay quite, it´s better than if you hurt a heart of somebody else." Speak love and sing joy everyday - it´s a kind of daily meditation to stay fair to yourself and the others :)))...and as we all know the meditation isn´t easy and you have to learn it and practise it as often as possible...:))))So, let´s go for it and we will hear the joy everywhere! :)))) Thanks, Caroline, for making this special moments we have to think about :)))....
