COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS
This is a figure of speech but is it really?
What if we really did count them?
Have you tried?
Seriously, it's almost silly because we're so blessed we probably can't even count that high.
Maybe this is the challenge/daily discipline that we all should practice...
Journal and really count them...write down our blessings.
Document the big ones, the little ones just like Ann suggests here.
Perhaps this weekend's give away will be little reminders in your home to do just that...
The winner will receive three products I designed recently for Demdaco.

I am blessed to have a loving God who cares for me. Also a loving husband, children and grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteI like you on Facebook. Thank you for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThe blessings in my life begin with a God who loves me in spite of me.. He has blessed my life with a wonderful husband, 2 amazing children who are super cool and a super funky labradoodle Grady who completes us!! The list could go on and on and since I follow you on Facebook already, I'm a little ahead:0) Oh and I have pinterest stalked you trying to find your products in Columbia, SC and these super cute items could help ease that pain of not being able to find your items yet:0)
ReplyDeleteHere is a thought on blessings: do you have something for which you have to wait patiently? My refrigerator cannot be opened for about 10 seconds after I have just closed it. I have a dish soap dispenser that is super-slow. SO.....I spend these little seconds, here and there in my day, counting blessings. It totally turns an impatient moment into a GRATEFUL moment!! That's my fun idea on Counting Your Blessings :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for having this giveaway which is a blessing to the lucky winner! I've been blessed with a wonderful husband, three beautiful children, two grand dogs, and our recently adopted rescue dog, and that just names a few. I could go on and on, but I'll just thank God instead.
ReplyDeleteHappy to see that you have "settled" into your new, temporary home and back to blogging.
ReplyDeleteMy blessing?....
ReplyDeleteI´ve been blessed with my home - my family - my loving husband, my little son an our really golden dog.
Faith in God
And many sweet moments that have become and many friends that I could meet.
Carolin, thank you for this blog and this reflection!
Hubby has to be my prime blessing, without him I'd have done without the last 42 years of joy! Thank you, Lord!
ReplyDeleteI am a follower. I have way more blessings than I deserve I am sure. Good health and a wonderful husband are the two most important. My grandson turned one yesterday and we were able to travel to his party with no problems. I get up every day and have all day to myself and can do almost anything I want. Mostly I sew every day. After reading so many blogs where people wish they couldnsew more I realize what a blessing it is to be able to sew whenever I want.
ReplyDeleteMy blessings are many, too! A major one is our new home. Through many trials and tribulations the Lord brought us to this incredible blessing that we hope to share with others.
ReplyDeleteLove you Caroline!
I have liked your page. I am blessed by your friendship. I am also blessed because I am embracing the fact that God is with me in good times and the bad times. He brings me through both. That just blesses me.
ReplyDeleteI wake each and every morning and the first thing I do is COUNT MY BLESSINGS. I give thanks for a new & fresh start each and every day. My BLESSINGS: GOD, FAMILY, HEALTH & FRIENDS! I love that you are sharing this message "COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS" with others.
ReplyDeleteTake Care-

Oh, Caroline, your timing is perfect. On Thirsday I attended the funeral of a man who was a second father to me. The hymn we sang to open the gathering was Count Your Blessings. Dad H. Exemplified that sentiment. Among my many blessings is the way he and his lovely wife and children welcomed me into their family, sliding over to make room for one more. My life is infinitely richer because of their open-heartedness. What a sweet blessing, indeed.
